The Man Behind the Wheel

This is not just the biography of a successful Indian industrialist. It is also the story of India’s seventy years of independence seen through the life and times of one Sikh family that survived the massacres which resulted from India’s partition by the British, who arrived penniless in Delhi in 1947 and rode many challenges to create a global company. The book was launched with a high-profile panel discussion in front of 100 assorted media and guests at the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi, which was live streamed to 100,000 people, followed by a party for 450. The launch also featured eminent politician, diplomat and historian Shashi Tharoor and was hosted by Suhel Seth, marketing guru, media maestro, wit and a man of many opinions.
